I have a WhautX login

If you signed up at whautx.com to send WhatsApp messages, you can delete your account yourself — no email needed. This is instant and irreversible.

1. Sign in at https://www.whautx.com
2. Click Settings (gear icon) in the top-right of the dashboard.
3. Open the Security tab.
4. Scroll to the Delete Account card at the bottom of the page.
5. Click "Delete account…" and confirm with your password + the literal text DELETE MY ACCOUNT.
6. Your account, login sessions, and personal data are removed immediately. You'll be signed out on every device.

This option is only available to OWNER and ADMIN roles. AGENT and VIEWER accounts must ask an OWNER to remove them via Settings → Team.

I messaged a WhautX business on WhatsApp

WhautX is the platform businesses use to manage WhatsApp conversations. The business you messaged owns your message data; we hold it on their behalf. To have your data removed, follow these steps:

1. Email [email protected] from the address you want associated with the request.
2. Include the phone number you messaged the business from, plus the approximate date of the conversation if you can remember it.
3. We forward the request to the relevant business within 2 business days.
4. The business has 30 days to act (Meta Cloud API data retention floor). Once they confirm, we anonymise your contact data on our side — your messages are deleted from the inbox, but the business's own records (e.g. an order in their CRM) are theirs to handle.

If you'd rather skip us and contact the business directly, their contact details should be in the WhatsApp profile or their website. We can't share tenant contact details, but we can route the request for you.

When your account is deleted, we remove

• Your WhautX login (email, password hash, name)
• Every active session on every device — JWT tokens are blocklisted so they stop working instantly
• All push notification tokens (FCM/APNs registrations)
• Your WhatsApp phone numbers — deregistered from Meta so no messages can be sent from them via WhautX
• Your personal contact data inside the business's WhatsApp conversations (phone, name, tags, custom fields) — replaced with an anonymised placeholder

What stays: aggregate business data (e.g. campaign send counts, billing history) that belongs to the WhautX tenant, not to you as an individual user. This separation is necessary for legitimate accounting and audit purposes and matches our Privacy Policy.
